Welcome to Playball Croydon

Playball takes a holistic approach towards developing children physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Our progressive programme uses sport and movement as the means to provide children with a sound base from which to develop every aspect of their lives including developing life skills such as independence, persistence, respect, communication and friendship. Our coaches are full of energy and enthusiasm and have all been through vast amounts of training in order to become qualified. All of our coaches have DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificates which are available to view on request.
Our goal is clear, to teach sport properly so that any child who attends one or all of our five programmes will achieve a level of competence providing them with a springboard into future sports participation. Playball caters for children of every ability, both boys and girls, from the ages of 2-7 years old. Above all of this we at Playball Croydon insist that children have FUN whilst they are learning!

About Nick

Hi my name is Nick. I am 25 years old from Zimbabwe and have been teaching Playball on and off for 7 years since I left school. I stopped working at Playball to go on a tennis scholarship to America and after I finished university I returned to Playball Wimbledon. I have always loved sports since I was small and have always had a very active lifestyle. I have played tennis professionally as well as cricket, hockey, rugby and athletics on a school and regional level. I absolutely love working with children and want to give them the same chance to succeed at sport and life as I did growing up in a very sporting country such as Zimbabwe.
